my fiance and i spent 3 days building diagon alley 3D puzzles and the harry potter kid in me was so happy

Over Christmas 2022, my fiancé and I got in touch with our inner child by doing something that we would love to do again: we built a Harry Potter 3D puzzle. We spent three days on the couch building the four sets together. They were Diagon Alley-related and consisted of Gringotts, Quality Quidditch Supplies, Weasley Wizarding Wheezes, and Ollivander’s.

The set costs about R400 and is the perfect display piece for every Harry Potter fan to decorate their bookshelf, gaming setup, or study. You receive cardboard pages with pieces of the build that you pop out and follow detailed instructions on where to insert them.

My favorite was probably Weasley’s Wizarding Wheezes, even though it was probably the most challenging too. It just looks so fun and colorful. If Lego sets are way out of your price range, consider getting something like this, which, if I’m being honest, probably looks cuter than a Lego set.

I particularly like the little characters like Bellatrix and Mr. Ollivander included in the set, which really bring the building to life.

All in all, the quality time we spent together building the sets was worth the price, and it looks awesome on the shelf above our desk. If you’re a Harry Potter fan as well and want a fun, different way to spend the evening, this set is a great idea.
