Hello, fellow book lovers!
I am beyond excited to share some wonderful news with you: I’ve landed a fantastic new job! As I prepare for this exciting new chapter in my life, which also includes an upcoming emigration, I wanted to celebrate in the best way possible—by diving into the pages of my beloved books.
To mark this joyous occasion, I’m hosting a Readathon over the long weekend from the 14th to the 17th of June, and I’d love for you to join me!

What’s the Readathon About?
This Readathon is all about celebrating new beginnings, enjoying great stories, and, for me personally, preparing for a new adventure abroad. Over these three days, I’ll be dedicating my time to reading as many of my physical books as possible. Whether you’re looking to tackle your own TBR pile, revisit an old favourite, or simply spend a cozy weekend immersed in books, this Readathon is the perfect opportunity.
How Can You Join?
- Set Your Own Reading Goals: Whether you aim to finish one book or five, set a personal reading goal that excites you.
- Share Your Progress: Use the hashtag #NewBeginningsReadathon on social media to share your reading updates, book recommendations, and thoughts about your reads. I’ll be posting regular updates on my progress, and I’d love to see yours too!
- Engage with Fellow Readers: Comment on each other’s posts, recommend books, and join the conversation. Let’s make this a communal celebration of reading and new adventures.
What I’ll Be Reading
As I prepare for my emigration, I’ve selected a mix of genres from my physical book collection to keep things interesting. My stack includes a blend of fiction, non-fiction, and perhaps a classic or two that I’ve been meaning to get to. I’ll be sharing my reading list on social media as the Readathon approaches, so stay tuned!
Why This Readathon Means So Much
This Readathon is more than just a celebration of my new job; it’s a way to experience the stories that have been sitting on my shelf for years and to make space for new ones as I embark on this exciting journey. Reading has always been a source of comfort and joy for me, and sharing this passion with you makes it even more special.
So, grab your favourite books, find a cozy spot, and join me from the 14th to the 17th of June for a weekend filled with literary adventures. Let’s celebrate new beginnings, the joy of reading, and the wonderful community that brings us together.
Happy reading!
