“I hate the idea of you touching anyone else, or anyone else touching you. I hate that other people can make you laugh in a way I can’t. I hate how I feel around you, like you’re the only person that can make me lose control when I. Don’t.

Rating: ★★★★☆

I have such a love/hate relationship with Ana Huang. I didn’t like most of her Twisted series, but I will still read everything she writes like it’s crack and I’m an addict.

“King of Wrath” is a captivating romance novel that effortlessly blends drama, passion, and intrigue. The story follows Vivian, a strong and independent heroine, and Dante, a powerful and enigmatic billionaire, who are forced into an arranged marriage. Their chemistry is palpable from the first page, making for an addictive read that keeps you hooked.

Ana Huang’s writing is engaging, with a knack for creating dynamic characters and intense, emotional scenes. The push-and-pull relationship between Vivian and Dante is well-developed, filled with steamy moments and heartfelt interactions that make their romance believable and compelling.

One of the novel’s strengths is its exploration of power dynamics and vulnerability within a relationship. Both characters have their own demons to face, and their journey towards trust and love is both satisfying and heartwarming. The secondary characters add depth to the story, hinting at potential future instalments that readers will eagerly anticipate.

However, some plot twists can feel a bit predictable, and there are moments when the pacing slows down. Despite these minor drawbacks, “King of Wrath” remains an enjoyable and thrilling romance that fans of the genre will undoubtedly love.

Overall, Ana Huang delivers a well-crafted and passionate romance that is sure to leave readers eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.
