This was so much fun!
We meet Nova Porter, Beckett Porter’s youngest sister, who isn’t interested in love. But she can’t ignore her attraction to Stella’s half-brother, Charlie, who is her complete opposite. She proposes that they spend one night with no strings attached to get each other out of their systems. And Charlie knows a good opportunity when he sees one, and he’s determined to prove to Nova that he’s worth her time.
This is the first book I’ve read by Borison even though it’s the last book in the series. This was the perfect blend of romance and humour. The chemistry between the main characters is palpable, and the tension builds beautifully throughout the story.
Borison’s writing is sharp and engaging, and I found myself laughing out loud at work at the humour sprinkled throughout the dialogue. I loved how the author managed to balance the light-hearted moments with deeper, more meaningful themes.
BK Borison has truly delivered a standout novel that left me with a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart.
If you’re a fan of contemporary romance with strong character development and a good dose of humour, “Business Casual” is a must read.
