Believe me when I tell you, my fiancé and I are huge ramen fans! I am very fortunate that my fiancé has introduced me to various types of ramen on multiple occasions, so when we discovered a new ramen place opened up just around the corner from us, we were overjoyed.
Service
Located in what was previously known as the Fainting Goat Centre, this cozy eatery welcomes you with the warmest hospitality. As soon as you step inside, a friendly young man greets you, exuding a genuine passion for his craft. You also can’t help but love the awesome ramen-themed graffiti adorning the wall to the right.

The menu at Ramen Republic features three distinct ramen dishes: pork, chicken, and vegetarian, each customizable with additional toppings. They also offer a delightful selection of boba teas and other Asian beverages.

Mains
While bubble tea isn’t my personal favourite, my fiancé, Jeremy, tried their signature Tapioca bubble tea, and was thoroughly impressed. As for our ramen choices, we both opted for the pork ramen, ensuring to add an ajitama, a ramen boiled egg, as we adore a perfectly boiled egg accompanying our ramen.

The restaurant provided us with chopsticks but also offered a fork in case we needed it. After indulging in their flavourful ramen, we left the place feeling completely satisfied, engulfed in a comforting umami sensation that can only be described as a warm hug.
We can’t wait to return and sample the chicken and vegetarian options on their menu as well. Although Ramen Republic may be small and somewhat hidden, it’s conveniently available on Uber Eats and absolutely worth the visit.
Overall, our experience at Ramen Republic was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of delicious food, welcoming ambiance, and friendly staff made it a memorable eating experience. If you’re a ramen lover like us, we highly recommend giving this gem a try. You won’t be disappointed!
