Your wedding day is a magical milestone filled with love, joy, and cherished memories that will last a lifetime. From the blissful “I do” to the dance floor celebrations, every moment is a testament to the love shared between you and your partner. In this blog post, I’m excited to share the enchanting timeline of our wedding day, highlighting the special moments that made it an unforgettable celebration of love and unity, so you don’t have to stress about yours. This is based on our ceremony start time of 2pm, so feel free to change it based on your start time and order of events.

(Bearing in mind, this is a rough timeline as things can and will go wrong and things will probably be changed around closer to the time. Also, if you’re coming to our wedding, look away lest you see spoilers of the big day.)

6am: Wash and blow dry hair

7am: Breakfast for bride and bridesmaids

9am: Makeup begins

11am: Hair stylist arrives

11:45am: Bride and bridesmaids get dressed

12:00pm: Catering staff arrive for set-up

12:00pm: DJ arrives and sets up

12:30pm: Groom gets ready

12:30pm: Bride’s first look with dad

1:00pm: Officiant arrives

1:30pm – 2:00pm: Guests arrive

2:00pm: Ceremony begins

2:45pm: Ceremony ends

2:45pm – 4pm: Photos

4pm – 5pm: Mingle with guests during cocktail hour

5pm: Guests seated

5:15pm: Grand entrance

5:30pm: Speeches

6pm: Dinner begins

7pm: Games

7:30pm: First dance

7:35pm: Father/daughter dance

7:40pm: Mother/son dance

7:45pm: Bouquette toss

7:55pm: Cake cutting

8:00pm: Dessert served

Our wedding doesn’t have a specific end time or a specific exit as we want to dance and party with our friends for the rest of the night, but if yours does, feel free to add it in here.
