• movie review: the invite (2026)

“The Invite” portrays a married couple, Joe and Angela, whose dinner party with their neighbours, Piña and Hawk, spirals into an unintentional couples therapy session. Featuring strong performances and a sharp screenplay, it amusingly explores awkward conversations and emotional truths, although its tonal shifts may detract from the overall cohesion.
